MaiN properties and field of usage

Gaseous nitrogen is an odourless and colourless inert gas with 1,25046 kg/m3 density under 0°C and pressure of 760 mm Hg.

It is used for creation of inert atmosphere during production, storage and transportation of easily oxidized products, in the high-temperature processing of the metals not interacting with nitrogen, for preservation of the closed metal tanks and pipelines and for other purposes.

Notes:

1. Index of paragraph 1 in the table includes admixtures of inert gases (argon, neon, helium).

2. According to agreement with consumer volume fraction of water vapour more than 0,009% in pipeline-transported gaseous nitrogen of 1st  rate is allowed.
