Nitrogen is the most abundant gas in the composition of the atmosphere of the Earth. In other words, the air around us is three-quarters of it was nitrogen instead of oxygen. In the periodic table of chemical elements nitrogen denoted N (from the Latin Nitrogenium), it has an atomic number 7 and takes place in the 15th group. Under normal conditions, nitrogen is a dihydric very inert gas. It has no color, taste and smell are therefore not noticeable to humans. Formula nitrogen gas N2; in that the molecular state, it fills three quarters of the atmosphere of our planet.
