MAIN PROPERTIES AND field of application 

It is colourless or slightly yellowy liquid with pungent suffocating smell. 

Non-concentrated nitric acid is used for ammonium nitrate production, for manufacturing of complex fertilizers, for oxidation processes during the metals' etching. It is a powerful oxidizer and very hygroscopic substance.

Non-concentrated nitric acid is poured into glass bottles, barrels, cans, not intended for the food-stuffs, into tightly closed containers made of stain­less steel, and tanks. Is conveyed by all the transport vehilces (besides the aviation).
